Today, Jamie and I talked about our plans for this summer, which by the way, I cannot even get my head around that it's just a couple of months away! This year has proven to do what every other year has done: fly by! Nonetheless, summer plans are underway and even though it's only March, we're almost completely booked up for June and July!!? How does that even happen!? Don't get me wrong, I love the summer and everything that comes along with it - trips to the beach, the ice cream truck, sleepovers, playing in the water, the whole shi-bang, I'll take it. Sometime between Cub Scout camp, zoo camp, Vacation Bible School, art classes, a girl's weekend and possible music classes, we are going to try and squeeze in a family vacation. Now, for anyone who knows anything about Molly and a car, they just don't got together - not even a little bit. This means, we are limited to where we can go .. since we spent a week in the mountains last summer, we are opting for a beach vacation this year - we have looked into this really cool place in Myrtle Beach, but that may be pushing it .. it's one of those family resorts that has an arcade, kid pool, movie theater, bowling alley, etc .. everything a kid dreams for -everything our kids dream for! But it's also about 6 hours away -we'll see ..
Things are good with us, all of us. I feel like we have really bonded as a family and Jamie and I are both at a place in our lives where we are really, really happy. With ourselves and with each other :) The kids are great, they're so amazing and they're growing fast, too fast! It's interesting to see all of their different qualities, they really are their own little person .. we're just doing our best to guide them along life's path and to teach them about this crazy world we live in.
The next couple of weeks are going to be busy ones! Until then ..
